The Gospel 

God is Agape Love—other centered, self-giving, radically forgiving, co-suffering love. 

Agape became flesh in the person of Jesus to show us what Love looks like and to invite us to live in the kingdom of heaven, in which we can have a consciousness of Love. 

When faced with the presence of perfect Love in the person of Jesus, humanity was overwhelmed with shame and guilt and reacted toward Love with extreme violence, resulting in the murder of Love. 

But Love in its resurrection defeated sin, death, shame and guilt and welcomed humanity into its resurrection, where Love takes up permanent residence in our hearts and invites us into the restoration of all things.
